As conditions evolve and information becomes available regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are taking proactive and precautionary measures to mitigate exposure to both our patients and our staff. We remain committed to providing safe and reliable services to our patients during and after the declared state of emergency. Listed below is what we are doing at Four Corners Pharmacy and what you can do can as well
STEPS WE ARE TAKING:
-Routine cleaning of high-risk locations in the pharmacy
-Regular handwashing by staff throughout the day
-Promoting the use of drive-thru window for pick up
-Promoting use of home delivery. Please call the store for details
-Daily monitoring of staff for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, include temperature
-Staff staying home if they are sick
-Constant monitoring of prescription inventory and increasing in-stock levels when possible
-We are also asking any high risk patients to utilize our drive-thru or home delivery service. This includes:
STEPS YOU CAN TAKE:
-Practice social distancing (maintain 6 feet from other patients while waiting for prescriptions)
-Use good respiratory hygiene (cover when coughing or sneezing)
-Stay Healthy, maintain good sleep habits, maintain a healthy diet, be physically active
-Have a positive attitude
-Allow for next day pick up for refills on maintenance medication
Currently, we are operating under a statewide state of emergency and expect to have an increased volume of calls and prescription orders. Priority will be given to new prescription orders for sick calls, this may cause a delay for refills of chronic medications. We ask that when calling in refills, that you take the anticipated delay into consideration. In addition, you should expect a delay in responses from doctor’s offices for refill authorizations.
During the state of emergency, Four Corners Pharmacy will be expanding their delivery service to include Saturday and Sunday. This expanded service will be limited only for the delivery of acute, sick call orders.
We are planning to be a valued source of medication, information and services to our patients during the COVID-19 situation. Updates will be posted as needed on our website and Facebook page.
Our thoughts are with all those who are impacted.
